Last Hunts of the 2010/2011 Season

By all accounts it was a great season of bird hunting. We put out a ton of birds over the almost 6 month long season. The dogs gave us great points and retrieves throughout the season. We helped introduced more people to the sport. I think we even hooked a couple more sportsmen. It was a great season for walking fields, finding birds, and spending time with family and friends.
I would love to tell everyone that my shooting got better with seeing so many birds, but as my dogs, friends, and family will tell you, anything that flew was pretty safe from my lead. Thank goodness for the family and friends that I am lucky enough to hunt amongst. They helped bag all those birds we had put out.
